Sustainable Roots Summer Intern
Do you have a passion for gardening and sustainability that you want to share with others? Would you like experience building capacity in a nonprofit organization? The Sustainable Roots intern will assist in running a seven-week summer program teaching students to grow their own food. Interns should be college students or graduates with gardening experience and a passion for working with young people.
The Mentor253 program aims to help middle and high school students acquire the developmental assets and academic skills needed for individual, social, and academic success. Mentors will provide ongoing support and a positive influence to young women and men to encourage healthy life choices. Mentors will commit to meeting with their mentee for a minimum of four hours per month for one year.
Act Six Professional Mentor
Act Six mentors facilitate our Act Six scholars’ personal and professional development by investing in an individual throughout his or her college career. Act Six mentors should be college graduates who are passionate about their career and have a desire to assist young people in identifying and pursuing their vocation.
