Tacoma College Ministry
Tacoma College Ministry has spent the last 20 years raising up young leaders in the community of Tacoma. These leaders have gone on to become directors of non-profits, business leaders, teachers, and advocates for Tacoma. It is TCM’s goal to continue to influence the young leaders of tomorrow to look beyond themselves and see the larger world and serve that world. We believe as our knowledge of God increases, our relationship with Him deepens and we begin to develop a more comprehensive theological and philosophical worldview. We offer opportunities which help teach students life skills, how to build strong healthy relationships, serve and learn about their communities and other cultures, and discover how to connect with God.
Tacoma College Ministry encourages college-aged people to:
- Engage and question influential subjects including faith, worldview, politics, theology, service and community.
- Experience a range of opportunities including community, service and other cultures through learning activities and intensives.
- Build skills and awareness to serve and participate in local, national and global communities.
- Develop a relevant understanding of local community, global awareness and faith with both Bible and newspaper in hand.
- Serve their peers, other college campuses, Tacoma, and the world through service opportunities, cross-cultural trips and city dives.
