Urban Leaders in Training, a program of Northwest Leadership Foundation, teamed up to participate in the Paint Tacoma Pierce Beautiful program. The program uses volunteer to paint the exteriors of homes of low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners in Tacoma, Lakewood, and communities throughout Pierce County. We had a great time and many hands made light work. We encourage anyone that has a few hours to spare to find some way to give back or pay it forward.

“It’s a great opportunity to help your neighbors in need and make your neighborhood more beautiful”- Program Director, Amy Allison

Since 1985, Paint Tacoma-Pierce Beautiful (PTPB) has organized volunteer crews to paint a total of 2,119 homes. In 2013, more than 500 volunteers helped to paint 37 houses and counting!
